
Glentana is a quiet seaside village, situated halfway between Mossel Bay and George and one of the most central places from which to explore the Garden Route and Little Karoo. Mossel Bay is regarded as the historical centre, and George, as the capital of the Garden Route with Oudtshoorn, the Little Karoo, Wilderness and Knysna within easy driving distance.

Outeniqua Strand or Outeniqua Beach is situated in Glentana which is a small
coastal village halfway Mossel Bay and George and an
excellent base from which to explore the Garden Route, Klein (little) Karoo and
Southern Cape. Here you will still find endless pristine sandy beaches with
dolphins all year round and whales during season - from as early as April
until November.
The Garden Route of South Africa is regarded as one of the natural wonders
of the world and Mother Nature's most beautiful gift to man and lies between
Cape Town and Port Elizabeth on the Southern Coast. On the one side you'll
find the Majestic Outeniqua Mountains with its rich indigenous forests,
rivers and farmlands and on the other, the warm Indian ocean. George is the
capital of the Garden Route and situated on a plateau below the Outeniqua
Mountains.
Leaving the ocean behind and crossing the mountains, one enters the
Klein Karoo - land of great thirst. Although semi-desert, conditions are
ideal for fruit, cheese and wine produce. Oudtshoorn is the centre of the
Klein Karoo and ostrich farming industry.
